The growing global wealth disparity can be minimised at a local level by improving access to finance and finance related products. The absence of formal finance in many rural communities exposes individuals to risks by borrowing from informal moneylenders. Siddharthinc has helped to develop new models for finance by:

  • Assessing funding and finance trends in rural tourism for Adam Smith International (ASI) under the Samarth NMDP programme - “Access to Funding in Nepal for Tourism Development Interventions”.
  • Preparing “Tourism development loans along the GHT” for ASI.
  • Facilitating the SAARC Chamber of Commerce Advocacy Forum for Better Economic Policies for Women Entrepreneurs.
