Cities and Infrastructure

There is an urgent need for smart use of resources and efficient waste disposal across expanding cities as pressure on natural resources and land increases. With the combined threat of climate change and natural disasters, existing and new infrastructure should meet the needs of an increasingly urbanised population and be resilient to the threat of natural disasters. Siddharthinc has helped to establish smart cities and resilient infrastructure by:

  • Designing the World Bank Patan pro-poor urban regeneration project – to increase sales and visibility of local artisans and traders.
  • Preparing viability appraisal and due diligence of major regeneration schemes across England, including London’s first zero-carbon scheme.
  • Providing strategic advice to the London Legacy Development Corporation (responsible for delivering the Olympic legacy in London) on its corporate policy and approach to environmental standards.
